This Lil Mohair Teddy Bear has been hand made by me – “My Primitive Sistas”.
I made him from an aged and distressed Mohair fabric.
This Lil Bear is about 11” tall. He is completely handmade. Every stitch is done by hand. His Head, legs and arms are 360 degree movable and have been Five-way loosely jointed with hardboard disks. This Bear has been stuffed with wood wool (like OLD bears and bunnies and elephants), wool and pea gravel. So, he is a heavy boy. His loose joints and a little bit of understuffing gives him that Old huggable feel. His eyes are real old shoe buttons. His face has been sculpted and shaded for definition. His Paw Pads are made from the 100% Wool fabric and it has been aged too. This teddy Bear is wearing overalls made from a 100% Cotton fabric with reproduction print. The overalls are outlined with hand-stitched Linen thread, wood buttons, and pocket on his back. He has an "Olde" tag with a vintage Teddy bear and kids image which has been pinned to his clothes with a rusty pin. He has a little rusty key hanging on his neck.
